hi,

Feed are the number of people/programs that access your site using the Feed proadcast that you have in your blog.

WordPress automatically can generate Feed for your blog and a user can register to it and see your site from a feed program (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_feed).

So it is more easy for the people to look to the news of your site, using their feed agent.

For example this is the feed of this site:
http://newstatpress.altervista.org/?feed=rss2

Hello and thanks for your great tool which I also use in some of my blogs. However, I think some parts are not very clear to me (maybe because I am a beginner). Fot for example i dont really understand what the column "feed" measurues exactly. If you would add some expainations what the data exactly measure, it would be great.

hi,

>Does this plugin track Facebook referrers? I saw a screenshot showing the most recent referrers, but I’m just wondering if it’s able to, say, especially give date/time stamp and what link someone clicked in Facebook (especially going to one of my blog’s articles) that lead to my site.

For answer I have to make some test in the next weekend into stored data and see if from Facebook record I can get that information.

>Also, how “resource intensive” is this plugin? I read that the original statpress plugin tends to be quite heavy, so I’m also wondering if this tends to be as well.

If you don't purge periodically old data (that is a way I don't like from original StatPress) your database will increase in size at every visit.
With StatPress and a db of 50MB I was not able anymore to see the overwiew of the visit as provider server will stop execution of scripts.

Now with a DB of 250MB (that is about 2 year of data with 67000 page visits in a month in average and 10.000 new visitors at month) and the index into database I can get it to run with NewStatPress (however at some points even index cannot compensate for big database).

However I'm experimenting data storing of old data for saving DB space (and having about the same actual information to show) and when I get a runnuble version I will release it.

Hi there!

Sorry if this has maybe been asked before. Just that I currently couldn't find any answer to what I'm about to inquire.

Does this plugin track Facebook referrers? I saw a screenshot showing the most recent referrers, but I'm just wondering if it's able to, say, especially give date/time stamp and what link someone clicked in Facebook (especially going to one of my blog's articles) that lead to my site.

Also, how "resource intensive" is this plugin? I read that the original statpress plugin tends to be quite heavy, so I'm also wondering if this tends to be as well.

Many thanks!

hi,

spy page is 95% the old StatPress one, there is only esthetically changes in NewStatPress.
If you point me to a plugin that shows you what you need, I will look to integrate that options into this plugin.

thanks
